At one point when the pressure causes his tongue to pop out, someone with a stick handy pushes it back into his head. More screams and he is silent again, this time for ever....

Salem has pubs and restaurants in historic buildings, and others made to look historic. Away from the busy waterfront we enjoyed the Beef and Oyster House, where the oysters were fantastic.
